Community Helpers

We have been talking about communities in Social Studies for the past couple of weeks.  In the past couple of days we have been talking about community helpers.  Today I had the  kids pick a community helper, they then had to take an outline of a person and make it look like the community helper they chose.  They also had to write why that community helper is important.  Some of them turned out really cute!  Here are some of my faves:

Love the part about how they tell about scandals! Haha, she must have seen that in the book about T.V. Reporters.
