The summer has been spent getting the classroom ready, taking some last classes and going to training meetings. Now it is all about to begin. The classroom is as ready as it is going to be, Open house has been held, and school starts on Monday! Although I am still a little bit nervous I am mostly excited! I can't wait! The desks and classroom have been quiet for most of the summer, right now the desks sit empty with a classmate wordsearch waiting on top and books and pencil boxes inside. I look forward to Monday when the classroom will be filled with 24 second graders and 1 teacher. We will all work hard, and I know that we will have a great second grade year!
