Describing Fish!
I wanted to do something really fun with describing sentences this week! I saw a link on Pinterest that showed a bunch of different things you could do with a paper plate. One of them was to make a fish. I thought it would be great to have my students make a fish and then use descriptive sentences to describe the eyes, teeth, body, and tail of the fish. My students LOVED this activity. They had so much fun making their fish and then describing them. While they were working on their fish I overhead one of my students saying "this is like the best activity ever", to which another student replied "yeah it is". Score! Having a blast and learning too, how can you beat that?
Love this idea! Your students' fish came out cute!
